The English Nose, Sarah Marsh MW, bravely visited the vineyard in the winter to preview some wines that we will be releasing in 2017. I think she liked them!

The English Nose is usually found in a glass of burgundy – so allowing herself to be tempted a little further north to a vineyard in winter for some English Sparkling was a departure. First she tasted our Classic which she described as
‘This blend of chardonnay, pinot noir and a dash of Pinot Meunier has an inviting aroma of toasted hazelnuts and the first sensation on the palate is of freshly baked bread. It moves to a straight edged citrus palate with a firm, lime-zest core. Good intensity and a zingy fresh finish. This is drinking very well now’
Then she previewed some wines we have yet to release. I won’t spoil the surprise, but if you want a sneaky peak at the future, read it in her own words at

That nose knows a thing or two.
