INAUGURAL OPENING FOR ENGLISH WINE WEEK: 27th May – 4th June
SIP, SIP HOORAY!
For the first time we are opening our vineyard and winery to the public to celebrate English Wine Week. So for one week only (which – curiously – consist of 9 days) we are revealing our Sparkling secrets.
When and where?
Find us at Redfold Vineyards, Nutbourne Lane, Pulborough, West Sussex RH20 2HS.
Please be aware that the brown ‘Vineyard’ road signs take you to a different vineyard (who are worth a visit too!) but if you would like to see us, ignore the vineyard signs, trust your sat-nav and remain on Nutbourne Lane. We are at the top of the hill.
We look forward to welcoming visitors:
– 10am to 6pm at weekends (27th and 28th May and 3rd and 4th June)
– 2pm to 4pm on weekday afternoons.
Tour of the Vineyard
We will show you the different vines, explain the terroir and recount the history of the area. You are welcome to wander independently or even bring a picnic. The vineyard has spectacular views over the South Downs and its the perfect place to linger and relax.
Tour of the Winery
In the winery we will unveil the secrets of how Sparkling Wine is made and tell you the fascinating history of how it evolved. (Spoiler: Dom Perignon did not invent it!)
We will have a tutored tasting of our Sparkling Wines with top tasting tips and food pairing inspiration.
Let us know when you are coming by emailing email@example.com
It is free to visit the vineyard, but for the tour and tasting there is a very modest charge of £20 (redeemable against wine purchases)
Come and see us. There a warm welcome and a chilled glass waiting for you!
