The Blanc de Blancs 2010 is released
We are very excited to announce the release of our Blanc de Blancs 2010.
The Blanc de Blancs – literally white wine from white grapes – is 100% Chardonnay from the 2010 vintage. It has been 6 years in the making and it is the first wine that we have ever ‘vintaged’ because we believe it to be rather special. It has spent 5.5 years on the bottle lees and 10 months on the cork so that it is in peak condition.
Jonathan Ray (Drinks Editor of the Spectator) tasted it and wrote:
‘This is sheer class, being gloriously citrusy and toasty, teasingly complex and blessed with the gentlest of mousses and longest of finishes. My goodness it’s good!’
Unfortunately there is only a limited number of bottles do get some if you can – we think its utterly delicious.
