While its very un-British to boast, we’re bursting to tell you that we won a gold medal in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2018. Huzzah!

Our Ambriel Blanc de Blancs 2010 – which we have waited 7 years before releasing – was awarded a gold medal with 95 points. We think its glorious and its very gratifying when the judges agree. We are so delighted that it has proved almost impossible not to mention it in casual conversation. We are being sent to our rooms to think about what we have done but remain irrepressibly ebullient.

We are also proud of our Ambriel Classic which was awarded a silver medal – complimenting our bottle livery perfectly.

We have celebrated of course … and I think you know what we drank. I don’t know why, but I keep smiling at strangers. Happiness is catching. Another good reason to celebrate …
