GIFT OF TOUR AND TASTING

A vineyard and winery tour and tasting is the perfect gift for oenophiles or the ‘difficult to buy for’ person – particularly if you have left them until the last minute. We will send them an invitation on your behalf.

Indulge them a private tour of our Sussex vineyard and winery, guided by the owner or winemaker, followed by a delicious tasting of various Ambriel English Sparkling Wines.

Vineyard

We’ll walk through the vineyard, take in its spectacular views over the South Downs and talk through what makes the vines, terroir and climate so promising.

Winery

In the winery, we’ll share the secrets of making Sparkling wine and recount the history of bubbles. (which – Spoiler alert –  doesn’t start with Dom Perignon).

Tasting

Then we’ll amble through the tasting garden – the sharp-eyed will spot the fruits found as flavours of the wines in the garden. Whether they decide to taste on the terrace surrounded by fragrant citrus, or in the comfort of the tasting barn, we’ll sip a selection of Ambriel English Sparkling Wines.

Bespoke requests

As all our tours are bespoke, we will happily accommodate special requests. So if they’re particularly interested in viticulture, viniculture or simply slurping the stuff, just let us know and we’ll focus on that.

If there is anything they would particularly like to do, then let us know. Do they yearn to sabrage? Or hanker for a surprise picnic in the vines? Or is it the perfect place to pop the question? (in which case – we’ll pop the cork).

Bottles

If you would like to leave a bottle (or a case!) for them to enjoy, we would be very happy to give them to them at the end of the tour. Please just buy the bottles you would like, the send us an instruction at [email protected]
